Country of origin: USA
Date started with Soliya: 2007
Field of work: My professional background has been focused on conflict transformation, facilitation, negotiation, mediation, and training. As a seasoned practitioner and consultant, I have worked for and with government and non-government organizations in a variety of capacities—a twenty-five year journey best described as ‘people-centered’ missions compatible with conflict transformation and social justice.
What about Soliya inspires/motivates you to be involved? The greatest attraction for me is how Soliya continues to imprint the lives it touches in ordinary and extraordinary ways. I often describe it like a tapestry of humanity that connects and weaves together cultures from all corners of the world. Soliya is the place where my personal and professional missions find an international home.
What can you be found doing when not working/facilitating/training? How I spend my time is precious to me; I aspire to use and plan it purposefully. I love spending time with family and friends near anything with water, playing techno free games and sports, or going on adventures to explore landscapes.
Favorite food: Spicy curry from around the world.
