Country of origin: Tunisia

Date started with Soliya: 2011

Education and field of work: I am a Founder and CEO. I lead the development, planning, and delivery of empowerment programs for multi-national & grassroots organizations with a focus on entrepreneurship, youth, and gender issues. I help individuals and teams achieve their goals and enhance their performance by supporting organizational change and providing the requisite training, facilitation, and coaching.

One accomplishment you're proud of: Building an active network of civil society leaders, academics, activists, experts, and youth committed to social progress, gender equality, and the advancement of women’s leadership in the MENA region. The network includes 17 countries and started during the Arab spring.

What about Soliya inspires/motivates you to be involved? Diversity is celebrated in all ways. Conflict is considered an opportunity to enlarge our vision and embrace new perspectives.

What can you be found doing when not working/facilitating/training? Traveling, shopping, and cooking while taking LOTS of selfies.

Favorite food: Besides anything with dark chocolate, Tunisian mloukiya.
