Robyn Puddefoot

Senior Facilitator

Country of origin: Born and raised in Botswana. Half British and Half Motswana.

Date started with Soliya: 2018

Education and field of work: Currently working with an organisation called Omek as their Student Program Director. I get to engage and interact with Afro Student organisations across Europe and soon the world! BA in International Relations and International Organisations and MA in International Relations: East Asian Studies, both from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

One accomplishment you're proud of: I’m proud that I am part of communities that are empowering people with skills that they can use in their daily lives.

What about Soliya inspires/motivates you to be involved? My own experience as a participant drove me to becoming a facilitator. I wanted to share the feeling/experience that I had when I was a participant. What keeps me here is the participants' growth and the community of facilitators.

What can you be found doing when not working/facilitating/training? Reading books, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Favorite food: If it's tasty I love it. But the best is my mum's baked spaghetti.
