Virtual Exchange Solutions

"Dialogue can crack the code of global issues including discrimination and the social gap. We shoulder the responsibility to adapt to changes and embrace new pathways to communicate."

– Participant

We've collaborated with the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Peace Support Fund (PSF), New York University (NYU) in coordination with NYU Abu Dhabi, and more on customized virtual exchange programs that address urgent subjects and skills in our globalized society. We empower organizations and individuals with the experience, relationships, and behaviors to foster constructive, actionable civic discourse around issues that threaten to fracture our societies.

With nearly 20 years of experience in designing and implementing virtual exchange programs, we have pioneered innovative methodologies:

  • Virtual Dialogue Program Design and Implementation
  • Facilitation and Mediation
  • Coaching and Training
    • Intercultural Communication
    • Inclusive Leadership
    • Conflict Resolution

We design and implement dialogue programs that connect individuals belonging to various identity-based groups with the intent of fostering deeper mutual understanding, meaningful relationships, and group cohesion.

These dialogues cover themes including culture, religion, politics, and social issues like the impact of COVID-19 and facilitate authentic self-awareness around subconscious biases using cognitive science principles. Their structure employs a pedagogy inclusive of ice breakers, free flowing discussions, and activities on stereotypes, cultural misunderstandings, and identity dynamics.

We occasionally allow access to our proprietary, custom-desinged web-based Exchange Portal for external projects aligned with our mission. Take a tour!

The platform is ideal for face-to-face, interactive small group dialogues or training; it is not recommended for room-to-room group exchanges, online lectures, or webinars.

You should know

  • The Exchange Portal is a collaboration between social scientists and technologists. Our signature layout design resembles a roundtable, mirroring one of the best practices in conflict resolution: seating participants around a circle.
  • The Exchange Portal is inclusive. It has bandwidth and audio optimization to support the inclusion of people who may otherwise be left out from conversations due to limited internet connection, including those in rural communities, desert cities, and refugee camps.
  • The Exchange Portal cares about your security and privacy. Soliya is a not for profit organization. We don’t depend on a business model that monetizes data and as such we have no incentive to share your information with third parties. Your data is yours. It is web-based, password protected, the videos are protected by end-to-end encryption. The portal uses Web-Real-Time Communication (WebRTC) technology where encryption is a mandatory feature.

Features include:

  • Video and Audio Live Sessions
  • Cross-Platform Support
  • Online Breakout Rooms
  • Screen Sharing
  • Whiteboard, Chat Box, Quizzes, and Polls
  • Sessions Recording and Playback
  • Performance Review and Tracking
  • Auto Certificates
  • Asynchronous Communication
  • Data Management
