Soliya welcomes TOMODACHI MetLife Women's Leadership Program participantsMarch 25, 2019 | Story
It was a great pleasure to welcome TOMODACHI MetLife Women's Leadership Program participants from Japan at Soliya's headquarters in NYC to talk about technology's impact on society. "The tide is on our side," said Ayca Ariyoruk, Soliya's Senior Manager for Global Partnerships and Communication, "The computers are still bad at stimulating human interaction...leadership and difficult to automate jobs will increasingly require social-emotional skills and attitudes, including collaboration, consensus building, and empathy. Traits that have been traditionally associated as female and often stigmatized will be more valued than ever." The students toured various American workplaces as part of the leadership program implemented by Cultural Vistas and the US-Japan Council.
